I will clean my room, Mom. Someday. Not today, preferably not tomorrow, but definitely someday when I'm struck by a dose of motivation. I'll pick those books up from my ever-scattered bed, I'll clean the desk I don't even use, and I'll put away the empty mug from two nights ago. I just need to rest for a while. You'd think I don't need any resting, as I have already been in bed for years. But I do. Laying in bed, scrolling mindlessly, unconscious out of your goddamn mind can be tiring. I know you always seem to find me when I'm on my phone but I swear that's preparation for actual studying; it's my break time; it's the time I pass till there's a round figure on my clock. And yes Mom, I'm exercising every day. You don't see it, But I am. I'll talk to the cousin I don't like, to give him a birthday wish he doesn't care about.
